Default Fuel Injection Cleaning

Anyone tried any of the off-the-shelf fuel system cleaning products. You know the type where you dump a can of it in with a tank of gas. Are these products any good? Any one in particular stand out? The reasonI ask is a buddy of mine used a can of Slick 50 and he said it increased his highway mileage about 12%. Being the skeptic that I am, thought I'd asked about other's experiences.

I have used both the STP brand and the Gumout brand in my Neons and my truck. I don't know if I notice anything quite like 12%, but I like to think it helps...

I've used that stuff before too, never really noticed anything. I prefer to use a spray and do a throttle body clean. IMO it does a better job. but like gutted, i like to think it helps too.

I have tried just about all there is out there to try.... the BEST stuff I've come across and I swear by it.. is Seafoam... it's expensive, at $6 a can, but it's well worth it.. I usually dump one can in my gas tank just before fill up when I do an oil change... also, I dump a can into the crankcase about 3-400 miles before oil change... you'll be amazed at the sludge that comes out.. hence why I don't do it after the oil change.. and then I run 1/4 of a can through the brake booster line with the engine warm and idling.. just be sure to pour it slow, and to be out in the open and away from neighbors houses as your truck will smoke like crazy while your doing it... I have noticed on average (pour in through the brake booster every 6k miles) I gain around 1.5 - 2 mpg with this ****... but like I said, believe the can when it say's will cause fumes and smoke... (smoke enough to almost surrond my 3 acres without wind blowing.. lol)

I run 1/4 of a can through the brake booster line with the engine warm and idling.. just be sure to pour it slow, and to be out in the open and away from neighbors houses as your truck will smoke like crazy while your doing it... I have noticed on average (pour in through the brake booster every 6k miles) I gain around 1.5 - 2 mpg with this ****... but like I said, believe the can when it say's will cause fumes and smoke... sure is fun tho!

Where would I find a brake booster on my truck? Would you know? I know it's slightly different than yours(maybe).

Help?

Also, where do you get this seafoam stuff?
