Default New truck

Hey guys I'm new to this forum... However just the other day i bought a 1998 dodge dakota sport. It has a 3.5 inch body and suspension lift on it. Just this morning i noticed that there was a squeaking noise while moving... If i grab the rear bumper and pick up and down on it it squeaks. However it also makes another squeaking type noise while driving it down the road. So far i've noticed that the sway bar bushings need to be replaced. If you have any other suggestions or can help me with this please do. Also it only seems to squeak when your bouncing. So would that be shocks?

Do the sway bar it's easy, inexpensive and makes a world of difference.

Nah everything looks clean under there, ofcourse the dealer painted everything underneath the truck before selling it. I'm not too smart when it comes to lift kits but i do know the basics.. I also priced the bushings at 5-7$ a piece. It also sounds like when you go over rough bumps, It almost sounds like somethings catching.. It's hard to explain It could just be a busted shock i really don't know. The squeaking has really gotten on my last nerve, And it's hard to pinpoint it when it only does it while the truck is moving.. Any other suggestions? Thanks

Oh and the truck rides real smooth except for occasionly theres a rough feeling that feels like its coming from the drivers front side. and maybe the driver rear side.. It's kind of hard to diagnose where it is, but if i had to guess i would say that a shock is gone bad.

check your bushings on your leaf springs... the piece of rubber that holds the leaf pack together... mine came out and it squeaks..

Well guys, I figured out the problem.... It was the bushing on my front shock.. So i went to the advance store and picked up a shock, got home and went to work... It ends up that the bolt was rusted, snapped off in the A-frame.. Is a torch my only option?

I'll upload a pic in the morning.. Why in pairs though? Not the whole bolt theres about 1/4 of it left in the A-frame.
