Removing Cat

i left my cat on. just stuffed a 1 inch piece of rebarb through it to open it up. that way i still have the bung for the 02 sensor. and when i go through emmisions they will still see the cat on the truck

howt that work with their sensor tho...? the emisions dude... we dont have to do it here...

Well since i removed the cat half highway/in town (with my heavy foot) got about 500km's to 75litres of gas. Calculated to about 18mpg. I have before removing the cat 7-8mpg. So a big change in millage. I also put a new o2 in which bumped it then reduced agian, but I will be cleaning my tb and etc... to see if that works. My idle was fixed but it still jumps a bit, it should idle smoothly, I am thinking dirty spd pos sensor.

i have the same problem with the idle although mine also throws a cylinder 5 misfire every now and then, any ideas on what could cause this, brand new plugs, and wires any help would be great
