LOL.. i work at NTB and some guy came in and had one of those on his truck.. first thing i said was.. wtf?.. i touched the chrome on it and it was to hot for comfort.

If you want somthing cheap, build your own from pvc pipe. Hell if you want to make it look good and actually work.

Take that CAI you listed and take off the filters and add 2 pipes on each side that go down into the air dam or fenders, relocate your battery to the top left on the engine bay.

do that and it will work a bit better, and also install some heat wrap around it.. that chrome **** gets to hot under the engine bay.

Thanks for the input. I guess I'll stick with the single intake.
I traded in my 02-3.9 Dak for an 03-4.7, can I use my 3.9 CAI on the 4.7?? I pick the truck up today and haven't looked at the intake on the 03 yet.

Yea that's right. My brother had the 3.9. It was a duel barrel.

Well it looks like the CAI from my old 3.9 will fit on the 4.7, but what about the extra hose that is going to the stock airbox?? Is there a mod I can make to it????The CAI from the 3.9 does not have a spot for the hose.....

nope...scratch that. its kinda cheesy and probably wouldn't work. I would make a trip to the hardware store. Gotta be something you could come up with.
