Default Bumper Removal

I am going to be replacing the front bumper on my 04 QC and I need to disconnect the Air Bags system before hand. How do I go about doing that?

for me it was just 4 bolts that sit ontop of the framerail when u pop the hood, i believe that airbag sensor is somewhere else unless it varies by your model

ya, you shouldnt have to take out the air bag system just to take off your bumper. I would just disconnect your battery to be on the safe side though

I read it in the shop manual that you just disconnect the battery for two min.
Thanks

Dont even have to disconnect the battery. Just pull the SRS fuse. We used to replace Suburban bumpers with Diesel bumpers (for the 2 air holes in them) to put fog lights in the openings in he bumper. We never had to deactivate the SRS to do that.
