Default Replacing U joints

Getting ready to replace my u-joints. Have three to replace. Can they be done without pulling the driveshaft completely off the truck?. Anyone replaced them while the drive shaft is still on the vehicle? I do have the U-joint toolkit from Advance. Will be doing them on jackstands in the garage. Any recommendations or tips? Thanx in advance.[sm=feedback.gif]

umm ya, I would definatly take the dive shaft out. if you have an aluminum drive shaft then they will be a pita to take out.

I did mine in about 1/2 hour but I have a press though.

you can do all the "pressing" in a normal table vise.
