did ya grease ur pins?
Good Question. I know I greased the drivers side. I did them first, Can't remember if I did the second side. If I cannot remember then that probably means no. I'll check them out again to make sure. What kind of grease though, I just used wheel bearing grease. The clear kind. Actually kinda brownish clear.

mmm i thought the brakes should've came with there own lube i know i did my dads brakes and with all the lube it smelt bad for a couple days but got better...he lost almost all braking power because one of the rear brake pads got stuck on the inside of the rotor, so i would check that on the passanger side

Brake grease can be many colors. The stuff I use is usually clear, but I've seen red and purple before, too.
Duralast Gold are good pads. I have them too.
But, sometimes, brakes just overheat. If you are using your brakes a lot, especially at slower speeds where the wind can't get to the calipers well enough to cool them, they are likely to overheat. Also they will do that if you a doing a lot of braking while towing.
I grew up basically in the passenger seat of a large motorhome. With many trips through the back roads of West Virginia, I used the trans a lot more than the brakes to slow down because if the brakes overheat, they are NO use.

Now the rear brakes I always have someone else do, so I'm not very much in tune with them. How do I adjust them? How do I make sure they are adjusted properly?Actually, I do have a haynes manual, It probably tells me in there.
