i have a 2000 4.7 club cab dak. i'm going to be doing gears, locker, and a programmer!! i am going with 3:90's, and theauburn locker! i do mainly city driving...if i go on the highway it's only for like 10-20 miles!! i'm not worried about gas milage to much...it is all ready terrible now!!!...i justwant a better 1/4 time...so will these gears be good for what i want?? also what programmer is the best for my truck?!?

 

not a problem at all as far as i see it. i have the stock 3.92's in my 2000 and the last three tanks have been 17.5-18.5 mpg and i just got back from a 172 mile trip today and the tank only went down to a little below a three quarters. these gears also seem to have a lot of get up especially in 3rd and 4th im very happy with them.

Dak just look for your old thread that's all don't get upset about being corrected. This forum is actually really easygoing compared to others and horatio was letting you know (in a reasonable manner) to post in the same thread. Things get confusing when you ask the same thing over and over again. Relax dude and we're all happy to help.
