'01 Dakota engine running rough
I have a 2001 Quad Cab 4X4 (5 speed Manual) and am having a problem where the truck is sputtering. It only happens when the vehicle is at cruising speed within each gear. If I let off of the gas is goes away immediately and if I accelerate it does not happen either. But it is almost constant when driving at the correct speed for the gear that I am in. It almost feels likeslight turbulence when you're on an airplane. It is not so bad that you feel like the truck will stall but there is definitely something wrong.
It just started to throw a P0175 (mixture too rich) code. What does this mean...Is there a sensor to replace?
I just changed the plugs, wires, cap (and rotor) and it still reacts the same. Any ideas out there?

O2 sensor, the front one - controls the air/fuel mixture. Take it out and spray the thing clean with some electrical contact cleaner iirc. Save yourself $80 and see if that doesn't help.
Thanks for the heads up guys, I also have about 125K on mine. As I recall I think I had to replace an O2 sensor on my GF's piece of crap neon back in the mid 90's. I'll try to clean it but will probably just replace it. Thanks again.
