But i have one problem . my engine light has been on for some time now and it has always said it has an EVAP canister leak . check your hoses, gas cap, etc, find yourself a manual and check it out pretty much... no offense but i highly doubt a CAI made a world of a difference, most likely she feels peppier but really is a warm air intake, is it a K&N?

I have a 2003 Dodge with the 3.9L V6 and I had the same promblem months ago and it ended up being the vacuum hose. I had it replaced, I didn't have time to do it myself so I took it to in and cost about $300 or so to have replaced. I'm about 99% sure it isn't the canister. I would mainly focus on looking at vacuum hoses. Somewhere it either has a hole or a crack, and also look at where the hoses connect that might be where a crack is coming from. Good luck finding it.
