Has anyone here ever painted there radiator?

I don't see there being a problem in doing this, but I just want to make sure, before I go out and do it...

I'm gonna have a black mesh grill insert, and black painted grill, and don't really want the giant silver radiator behind it to show soo much....

The previous owner of mine, 2000 @ ~97k miles, had painted the radiator. It seems to have had no ill affect on the cooling.
I DO think that having it black back in there looks much better.

 

I painted a ram head on the radiator of my old 82 ram and it looked pretty sweet. painting it wont affect cooling.
