Default Leaking...any advice?

Hey everyone,
I have recently started to notice a slight leaking problem from the front end of my 99 Sport 4x4 5 sp V6. I had a pinion seal break not too long ago according to this guy at tires plus, but never got it fixed cuz he didnt htink it would leak anymore. It didnt leak at all for about 2 or 3 months and now I think it is. I tried to clean it up underneath to see where it was leaking but could get a real good idea. It looks slightly purple on the cardboard....is that from the differential? About how much would it cost to get a pinoin seal fixed? Any info on this would be great! Thank.
