Default Rattle from Passenger Side Front

Over the last two weeks I've been hearing a rattle from the passenger side front end. Can be heard over the slightest bump, only at low speed. Also, as soon as Ipress the brake pedal the rattle stops. Never happens with my foot on the brake, only when my foot is off. So I jack'er up and pull the wheel. Then I go to remove the caliper to see if I find anything loose. The top bolt comes off easy, buttom bolt must have been stripped by the last guy to replace my rotors (I never stood a chance, stripped from the get go [:@]).

Any ideas on the rattle? Sounds like a rock in a glass jar for lack of a better way to describe it.

What are my choices with the stripped caliper bolt? Cut it with a "Saws All" from the bottom?

Truck is a 2001 with 62k miles.

Thanks in advance.

I just started having the EXACT same problem (minus the stripped bolt) with my 2002 and I can't find anything loose. Did you find what it was?

does it make noise if it is on level ground in park? or just in drive? For me it was my Cat converter, drove me nuts. Finally it got so bad that it would rattle all the time.
