Which line on the trany itself or on the radiator is the trans cooler return line?

Just in case of any confusion, the 45RFE is the 5 speed auto trans.

Just pop one of the lines on the radiator.While running,if fluid comes out of the radiator, it's the return.If fluid comes out of the line,it's not.Why do you ask?.I would suggest replacing the accumulator plate on the valvebody with one from Transgo.The factory plate gets pounded and breaks and strips the hold down bolts
