Default automatic upgrades

since i may end up getting my automatic rebuilt, not sure yet, going to go get it flushed first, but if i get the auto rebuilt, defiantely aftermarket performance parts shove in it, what does everyone recommend? i know about aps precision but i need something slightly sooner since i have a camping trip comming up soon and i need it to be reliable since im commuting to colelge this fall, 60 miles round trip for how many days a week.. it's either have the auto rebuilt with stronger parts or go for the manual swap

High Tension bands, high preformance clutch plates, custom made valve body, torque converter. You can do all this to make it stronger. As for having the 3.9l you have a500 tranny but you can get them to add some extra clutch or something like that and it makes it stronger like the one they have in the v8 dakota. The only difference is this tranny is a lot lighter.
