Whats up,
Im new to these forums and i have a question about my "Problem".
I bought a '99 Dakota R/T 360 5.9 liter with 16,000 miles on it. Since i bought it a year ago, i have had 4 rocker arms go bad. 3 of them the push rod punched right through and 1 completely shatered. My "mechanic" aka. dumbass has just been replaceing them but not fixing the actual problem. this week I am going to put 1.7 lift aluminum roller rockers in with 3/8 push rods but im not sure if that is going to fix my problem(s). I didnt know if anybody has had the same problem or has an answer. I sure am not going to sell it so i have to fix it. theres no other way then DAKOTA!

Yea paid $6,000 for it from a buddy but im startin to regret it

 

well if this is the only problem you have had thats not that bad. once you get the new rocker arms on i dought you will have a prob.

 

Really that is the question... Will it solve the problem or will i be wasting $300 on Rockers.
