Hi all. I have a 2000 Dak 4x4 with the 4.7 L that for some reason won't idle evenly and even dies occasionaly upon deceleration or idle speed. I recently changed out the ECM, but this did not correct the issue. I was wondering if the MAP sensor might be the culprit. I would greatly appreciate any and all feedback!
throttle positioning sensor. also there could be a vaccum leak. mostly the sensor. remove it and clean the carbon off of it. this will create a better contacy. it is on the throttle body
We have a 4.7 and it only does that when theres a vaccume leak. Check the hoses on the canister near the drivers side, under the hood. The smallest split in the rubber will cause it to do this.
