Try to shut off the engine when going down hill

You can also only drive down hills

Well I guess that what there going to to with the Ram 1500 in like 09.
Possibly in a dakota in like 09 or 10, but we wont know till the time comes.

Hopefully Dodge will put more emphasis on mpg than power something like 150 to 200hp 30 to 35mpg

I think the 5.9 Banks Dakota gets 24 or 27mpg? Might have to check the site.. but its close to 30.. lol, and hauls major ***...

They have been putting a 3 liter diesel in the jeep liberty I don't understand why they haven't put it in the Dakota.

It was a 2.8 and 06 was the last year for that, and they aren't bringing it back. The Liberty gets about 26 on the highway and isn't rated to tow as much.
