Default super 40 series delta flow

Any one on here got a 3.6 (v6) with a super 40 series delta flow muffler on there?
i put one on today with a turndown and it kinda reminds me of a honda with a fart can lol

I have the 3.7l and I was worried about it sounding like that so I was looking in to the aero turbine exhaust. I don't know stillunsure about what to get

ya, its hard to get a good sound outta a V6.

I have a flowmaster 40 on my 88 3.9 and it doesnt sound too bad.

You need to run the full tail pipe out the back to get a decent "burble" for lack of a better word from the exhaust. At idle with the 40 mine sounds like a V/8 idleing but you're not going to make it sound like a V/8 when you step into it although a full exhaust out the back will definately help get rid of the fart can effect. I've had it on for six years and am about to replace it with a Magnaflow. I'll let you know how that sounds.

My friend has a cherry bomb and it sounds like a v8, of course you could always get a burned out glass pack, like a cherry bomb. Really loud though, you could get a ticket.

I've got a Borla cat back with high flow Magnaflow cat and it sounds really good at idle and low speeds, once I get a hill or step on it fast the V6 sounds comes out. Can't get away from it

80 series sound good on v6's Even an original 40 or new super 44 should sound good (But LOUD). 40 Deltaand 50 series = Yuck

i had flows 40 series on my v6 ram, everyone thought it was a v8

i second that, gives it a more v8 sound at idle, not to ricey in the top end for the v6, well worth it, wont give u a headache either while taking long trips, but you can definately hear it
