transmissions are a weak thing in all dodges... ever since they shoved computers into the transmissions, all hell begun, especially the 90's... radiator is just a random problem you happen to run across.. otherwise... enjoy your stay

things go bad, I would agree that the transmission would be a weak spot,

I understand the tranny thing was random theres even a TSB about it. Kind of annoying it didn't happen till after I bought it.
And the radiator it kinda gets to you when you come home from work and see all your radiator fluid on the ground.
and a new radiator isn't exactly cheap. LOL

check your cap, rotor, plugs, wires, test the battery or bring it to advance auto or somewhere that will test the battery for free, brakes, rear differential fluid, if 4x4, transfer case fluid, just basically a full on inspection, anything out of the ordinary check it out.. and yea from what i see, our trucks are notorious for killing o2 sensors, they can be shot and wont throw a code, whats your gas milage?

I did a full tune up when I bought it plus cleaned the carb new pads rotors and drums
Ball joints were new its a 97
gas mileage is decent Hwy is about 23 around town close to 18
The only thing I can think of is the heat today (it topped 100 in my area)
pressure blew my welds or it blew my water pump
