I would get a 180 stat and it will let it run cooler. I found mine ran too hot with the stock 195 in it.

ya I hear ya about nickle and diming it. I did that with the 88 and I've had enough. its off the road probly for good now cheaper to buy another one then to fix it. plus I want a RCSB for my 360 swap

i want to switch the 3.9 for the 5.9 but i dont know about it yet

depends on your love for the truck or you can trade that in for one with the 5.9, i think the 3.9 is fine IMO..

Well get teh whole cooling system flushed before putting the new radiator in. I had problems with my heater cores lasting less than 6 months. Went through 5 in 2.5 yrs.Indepenant shop owner told me it was an electrolysis problem and to flush the system before hooking it back up, and flush it every 6 months for 2 yrs and once a year after that. So far the core's lasted 2 yrs.
But have a mysterious PS leak. Comes and goes.
Front bumper is covered with rust (wonderfull plastic paint covering).
Clear coat on the roof is fading (more than likely from when some freaking kids kept egging the truck).
Phantom check engine light that turns on and off for no reason.

Couple other issues that have been fixed but it took taking it to a dealer 40 miles away because the dodge dealer here is full of inept "techs".
