Default Overhead console?

On my dads 2000 dakota under the hood it has the temp sensor for the display inside but it doesn't have the display. He got the console from an 99 or 00 durango and some of the wiring. Would his have the plug inside for it or not?

He would need the FULL wireing. I bought my consol of a guy on E-Bay who refurbishes them and adds the necessary wiring loom. If you got yours from a breakers yard, its probobly got the wires cut off too short unless they removed the roof lining and dash to get them all off at the fuse box.
The existing loom will not work with the consol if it didn't have one fitted by the factory. Strangely, the wiring for the outside air temp is already in place. The kit I bought came with the sensor, just drilled it in place and plugged it in.
Getting to the wires behind the dash is a real pain but I managed and I hate electrics!

Good Luck!

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. V8Boss got there first! Can't recomend the company enough, really helpful and patient with an electrical novice like me.
