Real World Data on Gas Mileage
I think something that throws off some of our mileages it the fact that we put larger tires on (31x10.5x15's in most cases) this throws off the speedometer by a few clicks for one, and will add more grip or friction to the tires (aka less fuel mileage). The other part is that i was talking to a number of people who say that their mileage increased (got better) after adding a k&n filter or CAI, and an exhaust. In my case this would'nt help, i like the sound of exhaust so i'd want to hear it all the time.

you can buy it at napa and you pour it down your brake booster line slowly while idling. it cleans out the inside of your engine pretty good.

what is seafoam, and how do you use it, i keep hearing about it, but have not seen it in stores, or for sale anywhere

I've been wanting to do this for a while but I live in the city and will more than likely get the fire department called on me if I try it[>:] I need to find someone that lives out in the sticks so I can do it.

I did mine in my drive way and the neighbour came running out side cause he thought I blew up my truck
mine had ALOT of smoke. I smoked out the whole block. and it ran sooo much better after that too.and the brake booster line goes into the intake manifold. its easier then pouring it down the TB.
The bigger tires do make a difference. Like 4x4kota said it throws the speedo off just a few, but in turn throws off the odometer. It'll show less miles than what you've actually went, so it gives a false reading on mileage on top of the loss caused by the extra weight and friction from the tires. Then it looks like you're getting really bad mileage.
