brake size

Default brake size

I just ordered new brakes. and I did not get ceramic pads cause they were waaaay too expensive[:'(] but anybody know what size of brakes go on the rear of a 8.25 axle? there was either 9" or 10" brakes. I went with 10". so I hope I'm right

rockauto.com lists both 9 and 10 inch as proper fitment. Manual says the 'maximum' size is stamped on the drum. I would say since it lists a 'max' size, and from what rockauto says, you are probably good to go.

i know under my vin in stamped for 9.25 rear drums.. so in other words its 9 inches

The size should be listed on the door of your glovebox. Either there or in between the door and the ext cab.

well......... I was wrong

it has 9" brakes on the back. and since I tore it all apart sunday I had to wait till monday for them to open to get the right back brakes.

and it drives sooo much better with my new wheel bearing too now
