Default Bad experiance with SoCalDakota...

Well i recently orderd a set of Mopar Valve covers, new gaskets, and new hardware.

Got it all in today, opened the box and come to find out..

The Valve cover is chipped on the wrinkle part, i was pissed,

then to add to it.. the wrong gaskets where sent!

and even BETTER! They didnt even send me the new hardware.

Im surprised they got my address and name right.

So i sent them an nice little email, telling them they better first class me the right **** ASAP or they are going to have one hellashish (sp?) customer calling there main man and giving them the low down...

God im pissed off. I waited for these to come in so i could install them, and not i have to wait THROUGH the weekend till they open back up monday and check the emails.. and then wait for a response about stupid **** and why its my fault.. maybe after a month of so ill finnaly get what i want..

this **** always happenes to me.. nothing ever goes 100% to plan. **** my luck!

nah it's all good, id be pissed off just as bad, if not worse, what kind of valave cover did you order? mopar performance one?.. those things are nice, wish they made them for the 6's... better yet from the stock air boxes that had "dodge magnum" stamped into the plastic, make valve covers like that, pretty sick if you ask me... why did you buy gaskets from them?... go to napa, a lot cheaper, does the same job

I'm sure it was a fluke thing. Sam (owner of SCD) is a great guy and usually treats people really really well. I've talked to him in person many times and he's a great person to deal with. Last I knew he was still running most of the operation over there, but he may have somone working for him that screwed up the order. Maybe it was him, but either way I'm sure he'll get it all straightened out. Just try and be respectful to him. He's one of the few places that cater's to our trucks and has a passion for them.

got ahold of him, i sent him an email with my Number in it. and he gave me a call today at work. We got everything worked out.

Good guy. First time i ever did business with him... and not the last. Even though we got some things wrong, its ok. I understand his point of view on it and he understood mine.

But ya, its my bad for blowing up, i got some anger problems... this kind of stuff seems to happen to me all the time, and i was just mad.. but its cool now.

Ya i got the black wrinkle mopar performance Valve covers, i have te 1.7 Rockers and they are hitting my stoker valve covers and i need more clearance.

and i dont like buying cheap **** from napa and stuff i would rather keep it mopar, ive had good luck with paying for **** that more expensive then others that are cheap and break faster or are just crap.

and you can get custom covers made that dosay Dodge Magnum on it..

Have you heard of or tried Mancini Racing? They're strictly Mopar. Good guys that work there.
