Default 03 "Factory Modified" Dakota R/T

Does anyone have any info if they ever realy made some of the 2003 R/T's "factory modified" to commemorate the dakota r/t's last year? Below is part of the TruckTrend artical when they tested it in 2003:

"To commemorate the Dakota R/T's last year, Dodge took this already potent performance truck and bolted on a few final go-fast goodies. It added a Magnum MPI single-plane intake manifold ($364), cast-aluminum valve covers ($172), Magnum R/T cylinder-head assemblies ($766 each), a high-performance cam and lifter set ($450), a low-restriction cat-back exhaust system ($335), and a cold-air intake ($372). Dodge estimates the $3225 in modifications increased the power output to 300 horsepower"

Thanks for the hollycdj site. Man it would have been so badass if that had made the 03 R/T's300hp. With all the mods and money in mine right now i'm still under 300hp.

Thats very true, but to be able to buy a factory truck with the cost built in to the truck (in a sinse like the ford lightning) would be nice. Most of the big internal upgrades to the engine would be done, then you could add your $3225 to that and have alot more than 400hp.

As mentioned above - Dodge never actually released any of those modified R/T's - just a bunch of B.S. marketing hype for the last year of production.
