Default New Throttle Body and 1.7 Rockers

I just ordered the Fastman 48 throttle body and the Harland Sharp 1.7 rocker arms. Anyone have any idea how much HP increase? Looking to improve my gas consumption. Anyone done these? Reports?
Thanks,
Steve

i went with the fastman 70 mm for my 05 4.7. works great. as far as the rockers they are suppose to be really god mod. tricks the motor thinking it has a bigger cam. should see some good gains in the seat of the pants dyno. try and get a dyno run before and after. you should pick up 10-15 more horses.

TB will give you better Throttle response, you wont feel much "*** dyno" power,

but th 1.7 dont really "Trick" anything, they actually let the valves open farther up to get the full potental of the heads, 1.6s dont let them open up all the way.. you can do 1.7s and get alot of power avg is about 17hp to the ground, depening on other mods.

sorry for a stupid question but can u put the 1.7 rockers in a totally stock engine and have them work fine besides needing higher valve covers?

yes you can, it would help the rocker mods out if you had a better flowing exhuast..

what the rockers do is open up the valves farther and longer, having headers and a free flowing exhuast will help out alot.... but you can run them on a stock engine fine.

Does changing the rockers affect interfierence between the valves and the pistons? I'm not sure if the 5.2/5.9 is an interfierence engine or not, but it would be a little piece of mind to know that if my timing chain breaks it won't destroy my engine.

do you have a 4.7? If you do.. then you do know that they come stock with 1.7s rockers right? Not 1.6s..

I have a 5.9. I'm not sure how similar the architectureof the 4.7 and the 5.9 is.
