Default The Quads New Mods

Finally got some mods done to the Quad cab. Had fender flares, SS inserts, painted wipers, painted antenna, completed line on tailgate bottom (silver), rear plastic on bumper (silver), front lower valence (silver), tinted windows, and brand new fog lights done.

Looks like a totally different truck.

Yea, they really set the front off. I coulda gone with polished stainless grille inserts, but I wanted a contrast to the chrome bumper and grille shell.

That is 15% on the front windows. Dark enough so they cant see ya, but still lets you see out just fine. Also keeps the sun out, and helps keep the cab cooler.

The Wipers I took off and did myself. Just sanded them and sprayed them in ceramic 1000 degree silver enamel, then cleared them with 500 degree clear coat enamel, Duplicolor I think. The shop did the front lower valence, the new fogs, the fender flares, the rear bumper plastic, the lower ss inserts, and the rear silver line on the bottom of the tail gate. My dad and I did the upper grille section of the ss inserts.

Its actually dads truck, but I had to make sure he was riding in style, so we did a few minor exterior mods that really make a huge difference.

Thanks for the compliments guys.

How much did doing the Wipers cost... I mean won't you have to redo the wipers everytime you replace them?

No, see, I took the entire arm assembly off, painted those, then I went to wal mart and bought these wipers made out of silicone called triple edge. They have a lifetime warranty on them, where if u ever need replacements they send them to you for free. All you have to do is fill out their registration form. Its no bs, I have had 3 sets replaced for free. All you have to do is call them on the phone and request them and they check their computer system (registration form) to see if you are in it, and send them out to you.

I painted the frames of the triple edge wipers silver also, and the plastic pieces that hold the silicone strip, so whenever i need replacements, all I have to do is slide the silicone piece into the silver piece.
