Default A/C fixed, but i have a question?!?!

I just got my truck back today from getting the A/c fixed. I had the EVAP. replaced. And whenever i shut the truck off, the evap (imguessing, cause its comming from the dash on the passengerside) makes a kshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh sound when i shut the truck off. I'm just wondering if thats normal or if that means im gonna loose my A/C for the third time.

Thanks.

Hey Dak my 2001 does the same thing - but now I noticed that after I have either had the A/C running or just air out of the vent, I get my passenger side carpeting soaking wet.

Most likely your HVAC box drain is clogged, or, draining back into the box when you are driving. Try cleaning it out with a shot of air or a tool that gets in there. If no luck after cleaning it out, do a search on here. Many people have put an elbow on the drain to prevent it from blowing back in the box.

My truck has made the vent noise since I got it 2 yrs ago- but the drain problem is recent.

Where is the box drain? Is it easy to get to?
