Default ABS/Brake Light - ABS wiring diagram

Hy,
Sorry again for my bad english....

a few days ago the ABS and the brake light comes up in my Dakota.
It stays continuosly on, glows immediatly after turning the ignition on.

I read almost all topics related to this theme. I read also an error code out of the instrument,
its 950 and 999. I measured already the rear wheel speed sensor for the rwal, dont have 4-wheel abs,
It was about 1350ohm so shud be ok.
What i need is a wiring diagram from the abs system and a explosion picture of my dashboard to locate the CAB (Controller Anti Locking Break).
The Haynes Rep. Manual is not very helpful on ABS Problems....
All Fuses are fine, so i want to control the wiring from the sensor and check the CAB but i dont find it - FU..!
I also having a little problem to say what year of construction the car is, so i give you the Vin number,
Its
1B7 GG2 3X8 VS1 52 571
I hope somebody of you have a VIN-Decoder.

Please Help if you can, Thank you.

and i would definetly replace the rear wheel speed sensor as that is the simplest and most common cause of this problem

Default RE: ABS/Brake Light Help

the CAB is located in the engine compartment on the drivers side fender well just above the fuse box. I posted this about a week ago:

The ABS light and red amber brake light came on in my 1999 dodge dakota. also the spedometer failed to register below 45MPH. its a 5.2L automatic 4x4. The chiltons manual says you can ground out the diagnostic connector and the ABS light will flash you a code. well the book never says where that connector is located and i sure couldnt find it. supposedly it could be either tucked up in the dash to the right of the glove box, or near the parking brake release handle. there are only 16 possible ABS codes and only 2 of them show the amber brake light being active, both of those codes point to a bad speed sensor on the rear differential.

If you have these lights come on do this:
on the top of the rear differential is a sensor, remove the connector and get your multimeter. do a resistance test on the sensor between the 2 pins. the resistance should be between 1000 - 2500 ohms. If the resistance is not within spek order a "RWAL speed sensor" NOT the speed sensor on the transmission. you can only get it from the dealer, mine was like $55

I posted this because when i originally ran the search i had to dig thru about 5 threads, none of them had a finite answer. hopefully the next guy that searches finds this and just checks the rear sensor before wasting time trying to find the damn diagnostic connector like it says in the book

Default RE: ABS/Brake Light Help

Hy and thanks for the answer,

But as i write in first place, i controlled the sensor already it is 1350ohms - so its within specs, right?
My speedometer and all the other instruments seems alright.

And no, on my left front fender is no CAB, there is just nothing next to the rwal valve.
Thats wy i like to have an explosion picture from the dashboard to locate it.

And Yes i looked already on right side of the Glove-Box, i dismounted it. But i think i have to remove
the complete Instrument Board/Dashboard to see whats exactly behind this corner.

And Yes i looked also near the Pedals and there is something like a control unit. Its right above the
Throttle Pedal, but i dont know what it is...

So maybe somebody else has a idea....HELP!

if the brake light is on alone it might be brake fluid low, that happened to my dads truck and he added some fluid and all was fine, but if the brake light for the e-brake being on is lighted(cant spell today) then you NEED, no doubt NEED to replace the the rear wheel speed sensor, and you CAN get it at an auto store it costs 50 or 60 USD

Default RE: ABS/Brake Light Help

hy again...

so so everybody means it is the rear wheel speed sensor?

NO! I replaced it today and i still have the ABS and Break light on.
I disconnect the CAB for a while (for Reset), only helps for a second.

At least i found the CAB, its locatet near the throttle Pedal.
But that wont help me at all, I still need a wiring diagram from the ABS.
This CAB has only one connector, nothing i found here fits.

Still need HELP!!
