Default sick truck needs help

i hade a problem in a previouse post whats happening is that my truck is idleing like crap and when i take off and start to let the cluch out it acts like its going to stall. also when i give it gas it makes a loud ticking noise. i have changed my plugs, my cap is good, and wires are good. i have full spark to the plugs. also changed my pcv valve, and took the valve cover off to see if the rocker arms were working ( to see if i broke a push rod or something) and its all good. sooooooooooooooooooo could this be due to my header gaskets ( from headers to the block), because i heard that an exhaues leak makes a ticking noise. HELP ME!!!!

An exhaust leak between the heads and headers / manifold can indeedmake a ticking noise. But...I've done a few crappy header installs in my time and never did one of the leaks cause an idle problem, though.

Have you done any mods to the truck?

For starters, I'd remove the throttle body and thoroughly clean it with carb cleaner. Be sure to remove the sensors and clean them and the passages off really well. This fixed my idle problem.
