cheap n loud
hey guys, quick question: im lookin to make my 98 r/t with a 3in exhaust louder. currently runnin wat i believe is a flowmaster 70 series that exits all th way at th back. if i cut out a section of th pipe n shorten it up so my exhaust exits b4 th rear wheels, i should b golden n hav a louder truck, rite? im low on funds so im goin cheap to get loud. feel stupid askin but maybe u guys hav better ideas, if so let me kno. thanks

what he said. if you run your plumbing as short as you can, you can put the muffler right behind the cat, and a turndown tip right behind that, and it will be right past the cab of the truck, so it will still be legal, and loud as all getout. Not only that, but it makes for a cleaner look, with no ugly 3 inch chrome tip (or worse) sticking out of the *** end of your truck.
