ok i just got new tires on my Durango(i know this is the dak section, but the d forum is awfully slow), my parents offered to pay for them if i got the tires that they wanted so i (being smart about saving my money) said yes, i got Cooper Discoverer AST, 4 brand new tires, so im set for winter, anybody know how good these tires are, its what we have used almost exclusively for as long as i can remeber w/wo any problems, just wanted someone elses opinion

 

u dont want that get fuzion xti by far a excelent tire had them on the dak now on the trailblazer + they dont sell the ats tires from cooper ne more..

 

they obviously do still sell the AST tires from cooper bc i just bought 4 of them on wed., and
1)what is so bad about them???
2) brand new tires, im not about to throw them away, i am going to run them into the ground

never heard of ats tires from cooper, so if ya like em way to be! but no im not a fan of cooper tires on trucks...

everybody has their preference. mine in particular is BFG i like their tires and when the tires on my truck wear down im going to get some of them. as far as cooper tires goes jonnymagnum said it best "if ya didnt pay for them. then who cares"

 

yea i know im not worried about it im jsut wondering why they seem to have a bad rep with you guys
