Lately I noticed when I make left hand turns my front driver's side wheel would squeak. The squeak now occurs when I am going straight as well as turning left. Any ideas. I have checked the wheel bearing, is it maybe the ball joints or any other ideas. I really need help. If it's the ball joints would I be covered in the recall as my truck is a 2000 Dakota SLT V8 4x4. Help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
It sounds like the as the wheel is turning it keeps hitting something that is making it squeak. As I driveI can hear a squeak, then quiet then a squeak, and as I get faster the squeak becomes more frequent and lounder.
Yeah, I need an oil change in about 100 kms so I think I'll just take it to a garage and get the Oil change plus new brakes. I would do it myself but I have little free time and anytime I do have is either with my girlfriend or fixing my 87 Dak so I'll see. Thanks for the help
I have the mechanics in town that I used with my old Grand Prix and I can charge work there plus Ipersonally know the mechanic who would be working on my truck
