Default converted to LED tails

I bought some new tail lights and decided to go with some LED bulbs. so I hooled them all up and now they blink fast when I hit the blinkers. I guess I need to install a resistor in there or something. any body know what size I need?

and heres the new tail lights

nope. its hard to find aftermarket tails for them. I tried to find some for my 88. but I couldnt, so I just painted them. I did see some one that night shaded them and they looked sweet.

I was looking at those as well. I like them! You will need to get a new relay.

you could get an LED resistor, probly costs more than a relay as you'd need two
I had the led bulbs for a bit but they are'nt very visible in the daylight
(not enough for me anyway...)

ok, so I was told that I should get a ep-27 flash relay or get 2 resistors and splice them in.

so if i get that relay, then I can change my front turn signals to LED's too then?

I also seen a guy that wired his reverse lights into his tail lights.and that was bright as hell. you just have no reverse lights though.

a company makes a no load flasher, its basicly a relay and a timer, so you can set the speed. but i think you need both front and back led's so you don't have a current on it. www.keepitcleanwiring.com part number FF552NLP i purchased one for my 66 impala i am restoring
