I have a 97 regular cab with buckets and a center console. I am wondering if Dodge made this truck with a bench seat and, if so, how to get my hands on one. I have 2 small kids (6 years old and 4 years old) that I take to school every morning and a bench seat with 3 seatbelts would be perfect. If anyone would like to trade, I would be interested. My seats are grey cloth and the console is black. Also, my truck is a 5 speed, so the bench would have to be notched for the shifter. Thanks for any help or ideas.

they have a flip bench. where if you flip up your center consol there is a seat. I would check a junkyard for it.

 

+1 on the junkyard part, and i think the center peice fits in back far enough that it doesnt need to be notched, not 100% on that

 

yea the bench has a console thing that flips up and the shifter doesnt get anywhere near it but just so you know the center part of it is raised up more than the other seats tho that shouldnt be a problem with little kids whenever someone full size sits there in my truck they hit the roof lol.

just a little fyi the bench seat with the console down the seat is smaller than the captains chairs. i guess that just matters if your a bigger guy.
