CAI and exhaust should have had a , between them. 2 different animals. My AFE CAI with a dry reusable filter is pretty good. Gets it's air up front (especially if you remove that little rubber flap between the radiator and the headlight.) Exhaust is up to your personal sound likings.

Oxygen sensor? That's not going tohelp performance at all, unless the one you've got is dead. One 02 sensor is the same as another 02sensor basically, Bosch makes reliable ones, but they aren't going to boost... anything.

As far as "chips"... Superchips makes good programmers for our trucks.

Oh yeah, since no one really elaborated and it seems there was some confusion... CAI means Cold Air Intake.

Oh I figured they get old an ragged out and they don't sense oxygen as much. guess they either work or they don't work. Ok well that will save me some $$$
Ok so i guess i will get
AFE CAI
Superchip Programmer
and new plug wires, if i can find any...

They can wear out, and changing them can improve gas mileage a tad, if they were indeed worn out. But it isn't a "performance" upgrade really.

Taylor makes some good wires.

yea but the thing is with the plug wires, i don't think anyone makes them to fit the 2000 4.7 motor. so should i just get some where i cut them to size?

oh yeah, forgot you had the 4.7 Yeah you could. Havn't tried the make-your-own type, so I'm not sure how well they work.
