I just bought an 03 Dakota and was wondering if the factory Stereo will play mp3's. I created a disk and can't get it to play, and want to be sure that it's not a burned disk issue.

 

I dont think they do. You'll have to get an aftermarket headunit. I've allways thought the factory units were pretty craptastic anyways, at least if you want to have something that doesnt sound like a rental car

the stock decks dont play MP3s.

I had a rental and the system in that was better than the infinity system I had in my truck.
