Code reads #2 misfire,truck runs and sounds good.need i bring to my mechanic or clear the code and wait till check engine appears again?

 

When it comes back will need more information, year and engine size.

If the # 2 misfire came back, there could be a few things that can going on. Bad spark plug, coil pack , fuel injector or the valve seat has move causing the valves not to seat. I have seen this happen on 4.7 and 5.9 engines.
