Alright well I bought my truck in June 2006 with 58,000 miles on it, now since I drive too much, especially pulling my trailers its brake time at about 94,000 miles. Its a 2002 Quad, 4.7 4x4. Anyone know what around how much new rotors and pads, and an adjustment of the rear brakes would run me at a place like Midas? Just a ball park figure. I know the rotors are warped everytime I stop its pulsing bad, and I'm pretty sure that there isn't enough to just get them turned. I just need a ball park figure on what the whole deal would cost me. Thanks in advance.

we do it ourselves and i think the parts (pads and rotors) run like $100 - 150, but thats the better stuff out there

 

most brake /muffler shops advertise around 80-100 per axle.i don't know if 4x4 is any more.i do everyhting myself.parts are probably 80-150.

 

If I were home I'd be doing the work myself as well but I am at school and don't have the time or resources to do it on my own. I remember on my old Ranger if was somewhere around 125 bucks for the parts. Im hoping I can get all that donw for less than 200 at a Midas or something around here.

 

i do alot of front end work, i would rec u a make it new kid from mopar, comes with oem pads, rotors, slides and caliper bolts. Runs for about $200 at dealer and there is no rear brake adjstment or rear brakes. im new to forum and mostly speciallize in front end work for dodge, Dodge Tech

 

I just did mine sunday night. I work at a parts store and after hearing complaints about cheap rotors warping, i opted for the good ones ($75.00 each) and the mid grade pads for $35.00 (The premium pads get complaints about wearing out rotors too quickly, but they do stop the best)

 

generally you get what you pay for. More expensive parts will last longer and stop better. Best way to get a price quote is to call Midas.
