hey im new to the dodge forum i bought my dakota last monday i love it all but theres an electrical issue with it but the dealership is supposed to fix it for free.. but any way i am having a hard time finding a cold air intake for the 3.9L v6 i have found a bunch of them for 5.2L and 5.9L v8 and suggestions.???

 

look on ebay i found a couple on there

 

anything that fits 5.2 and 5.9 v8's will fit the 3.9 v6

 

are you sure b/c looking at pix online of the v8's the tubes for the intakes are bent alot differently

 

the k&n cai for the 5.9, 5.2 will work for the 3.9. you may have to move the cruise control components if your truck has it

 

You can modify them to fit.

 

modify it how cuz if it aint bent the right curves then it wont bracket down right and will bounce around like it did on my accord cuz it was an ebay intake and the bracket was useless .. we eventually made one for it but for the truck it would be a lil harder cuz of the engine bay layout
