nope, the upper most spring is the longest, and by taking out leafs, your really making the handling of your truck really bad, you can always swap the axle over the leafs, cause as of now, the axle sits under the leafs, look for surango axle set ups, im not exactly familiar with doing this, but its possible
actually the axle sits on top of the leaf springs. so what i was thinking was that i could get like a 2 block and mount it in between the leaf springs and the axle and that would push the axle up into the wheel well more.
yes it is on top of the leaf springs. And i found a kit that has 2" blocks and u bolts. do u think lowering it 2" in the rear would make it sit level and would handle better?
just watch out when you burn the tires. the rear end will shake and you might snap the blocks. make sure they are nice and tight. check atleast once a week.
alright cool i might have to get those in the near future. but do you guys think it will sit level with a 2" drop in the rear? I will measure it tomorrow and see i guess. thanks for your guys input.
