I have a 2004 Dakota Quad cab. I replaced the blower motor resister about 2 months ago afterI gradually lost all fan speeds. This worked well until the other day - it just quit at all speeds , AC and heat. The weird thing is, that it sometimes just comes on and might run for 30 minutes before stopping again.

Sounds weird, but when it comes on, its usually as I hit the brakes. Might be my imagination - can they be related at all electronically?

The fan speed switch itself is questionable - lost all lighting behind that side of the switch panel -

Can anyone offer any advice? Replace switch? Is it fairly simple?
