firestone destinatino m/t's did really good in snow and mud on my jeep never got stuck and didnt have to use 4wd all the time in snow and when i did it never really ever spun and i was in some deep snow overall one of my most favorite tires i've ever had. damn dealership just had to put new meat on my truck when i bought it or id probably have those on my dak or some trxus a/t's not sure there technical name but have some good things about them and they come in 31x11.5's so u can have that sweet look of a wider tire that will fit under ur dak...sorry for the long post but i highly recommend the destination m/t's for a good snow/mud tire.

Buy some sweet tires lol. Something like cooper discoverers? Something like that mud tires apperently really good in snow....

Thought I would add this, had my truck up to -30c which I believe is the same in f. This was without plugging it in. Still ran good. Cold but good lol. -42 i believe is the coldest while plugging it in.

I have Kumho mud tires (see sig) and they are the best tire ive used yet. A little rough at highway speeds but still a fantastic tire. They chew through anything ive put them through mud, water, snow and angry rocks. My friend put Bridgestone dueler AT REVOs on his jeep and he could go from a dead stop on a hill in 2wd and not spin in a blizzard! He also did some light off roading and there were awsome off road too, just incase thats in the back of your mind. I really want thos revos on my truck but my kumhos are acutally a lot cheaper (like $40 or so a tire). Cant beat that price and they are mean looking too!

I second the Firestones,.. I plow with my Ram and they cut & grip thru anything it seems.
They are quite at highway speeds and seem to handle just fine in the rain or dry weather.

ive had good luck with cooper discoverer. Also BFGoodrich Mud Terrain have awesome reviews.

I assume you will be using a block heater in those cold temps? You could try installing an aftermarket alarmsystem with remote start. I could program mine to startevery three hours and run for 20 min each to keep fluids warm. But a block heater may be better.

Yea a block heater will be a lot better save you that gas... and noise in the middle of the night. Save the starter for before you go out. Just look for a northern truck I thought all came with block heaters lol.

I run BFG's on all my toys. They may not be the best but darn good for the price. by the way I live in Colorado and never had trouble getting around last year.

I liked the Interco IROKs and the Goodyead MTR. They work great for off-road and for the Utah mountains andsnow.
