I just cut the wires on the old sensors so I could fit the box end of the wrench on it. and they came right out.

If I were you, I would clean them all first and see if that helps. Electronics cleaner can be purchased at a local Radio Shack or equivelant.
I wouldnt go that route... get the CRC elect. components cleaner from the auto parts store... it does not leave any residue, leaving a residuecould cause a problem on the o2's... IIRC, they become slow to respond.
