Here's the Pics of all the interior out of the Dak,..

Next, (When it stops raining out) I'll post the new stuff going in and, some pics of the inside of the truck with my custom
Milk-Crate I've been using for a seat to get the truck in & out of the garage. LOL!!
I love the fact that with true car guys (or girls) even something like this becomes a good excuse to do some custom work. Take the seat frames and have them recovered in leather. I have seen on custom fiberglass headliners so that you can paint them any color you want. You can also take the plastic panels and have them covered in fabric or leather. And of course you can tuck in a killer sound system!
Post some pics of the inside of the dak. Did the fire ruin the dash or bubble the underlying paint?

The vents oddly enough slightly melted. (I've got new ones).
That's it. Everything works,.. I checked out the wiring under the dash and all is ok.
The paint is fine. In the truck and outside.
For the most part all is fine minus the soft parts inside.
Heck, even the speakers are fine.
I guess when the morons lit the fire and closed the door the fire went out fast.

It would make sense that the vents melted a little. Cars today are pretty well sealed so the fire was pulling air in threw the vents and sending heat out. The fire probably ran out of fuel before it ran out of air, the fire resistance standards for auto interiors are high. Everything is synthetic so when the fire burned up whatever they used to start it, gasoline or lighter fluid or whatever, it went out.
