Default 03 4.7 stalling in reverse

Lately my truck has been stalling when I put it in reverse. I checked for codes, but its clean. Any idea where I can start? I just did a basic tune up.
Thanks!

Its an 03 4.7 V8 automatic. I put that in the title of the thread, but I guess should of included it in my message aswell.

It seems that whenever you put it in any gear, it will want to stall.Any ideas?

Thanks for the response! If it was my torque converter would the truck not start off very sluggish? Also my RPM's seem fine, meaning they don't jump around or anything. I'm not saying your wrong, just trying to get a better understanding.

I have an 03 4.7 and have been dealing with the same thing. When I switch between gears the rpm's seem to drop and it wants to stall or does stall. It has run a little rough periodically on top of that. I did get the P0456 code but I think I have that tracked to a cracked hose at the evap cannister by the fuel tank. Could this cause a rough idle and stalling between gears?
