Trim Codes (rpo codes)
Hi everyone.
I am now an offical member of the Dodge Dakota Owners Club. Got the keys to it today.
Anyways I am wondering if there is a place on the internet that I can decipher the trim codes on the manufacturing label inside the glovebox. I know that I could with my old blazer and sort of assume there is such a place for the Dodge vehicles/
Here are the codes that I am not sure about:
Trim Code P9AZ
4 speed auto code DGB
4 speed auto code DGK
Why does it have tw different codes for the 4 speed automatic transmission?
How do I know if i have a SLT or SLT plus model?
Thanks

P9AZ is the interior trim code. P9 means split bench seat. AZ is the color called agate. DGB is a code that is generic to 4 speed automatic trans. DGK means that it is a 42RE 4 speed automatic. PM me your VIN and I can tell you if its a SLT or SLT plus......Congrats on the Dakota. And welcome to the forum.....
