well, hit a tree stump with my dakota today, was backing up in the pouring rain. trying to look through my 2 1/2 percent tint. didnt hit it real hard but it seems the rear bumpers are quite weak. i can fix the box side, thats not too bad. but i will be looking for a bumper. i wanted to change to black front and rear bumpers anyways so if anyone knows where i can find at least a black rear let me know. thanks

 

thats kinda funny i did almost the exact same thing in almost the exact same truck the only difference is that i have a 5.9 2wd but i was trying to pull a trailer out of the back yard and it got hung up on a slab of concrete and pulled me into a tree so how hard is it to pop out the dent?

the tree didnt mess with any body lines, small crease right under the taillight, bent the corner of the bumper in and up. i want to pull the bumper away a little but i cant drop my tailgate, if i do its gonna mess that up too. damn tonnau covers. i love the tint, its gonna stay. the only reason i couldnt see the tree was i took out my under the bumper reverse lights so the trucks could be oil undercoated.

 

That sucks, try looking where you are going.JK. How many dakotas have been wrecked this month. Also it sounds like it is how you hit the bumper my truck was hit by a ups truck and the only damage was teh plastic cover.
