Default TIRE help

Ok I have 58000 miles on my truck and it has had three sets of tire. The secound set lasted 6000 before my dad replaced them because you could not get tracsion when it was dry much less wet. Any way I have uniroyal tiger paw freedom that will not last 30k miles and they are suposed to have a tire life of 50k miles.
I am looking for recamendations for tires I have a 2wd truck and do not drive much in snow but want a good wet weather tire and a decent snow tire. I brive mostly on the road. I am looking at BFG all-terrain k/o but about how many miles can i exspect out of them?

Well, I know one thing when a Tire doesn't reach it's expected you usually get another free set. I think the a/t KO are good. Iv seen them and heard good about Them.

the bfg at's are the best tires i think. they are a little pricey but the cooper discovery s/t ( i think its callet s/t) are also pretty good in wet weather.

I have the pro comp xtreme at's on my '05 ram and they are awesome, unfortunately however they dont make it in smaller sizes yet. I've got 55,000 miles on them right now and they still have lots of tread left. if they ever come out with one that would work on the daks... I'd get it.

Wow!!! I was just talking with with someone else on those and the smallest size they had was a 35" 16" tire... I highly recommend them... they are an awesome tire.
